Litchi Kheer

Ingredients:

♦️6 drops rose essence

♦️1 1/2 litre milk

♦️3 powdered green cardamom

♦️6 tablespoon sugar

♦️350 grams chopped litchi

♦️6-7 Cashew nuts

♦️2 tsp Ghee

Process:

♦️Place a saucepan over medium flame and heat milk in it.

♦️Add ghee and green cardamom powder in it and stir well.

♦️After sometimes, off the flame and set it aside for a while.

♦️Meanwhile, peel and de-seed the litchis.

♦️Place the pan with milk over medium flame again and let it boil until it reduces to half its quantity.

♦️Add sugar in it and give it a stir.

♦️Let the sugar dissolve and sprinkle the rose essence in it.

♦️Reduce the flame and let the milk boil over low flame.

♦️Now, stir in the peeled litchis.

♦️Mix them well and ensure they are evenly coated with milk.

♦️Once the milk has attained the desired consistency, off the flame.

♦️Transfer the kheer in a bowl and let it cool.

♦️Then garnish with some peeled litchis, cashew nuts and enjoy!
