Beauty of Meghalaya

Dawky in Meghalaya is famous for its beautiful Umngot river, the cleanest river of India.

Umngot flows through the small border town Dawki, in the East Jaintia Hills district near the Indo-Bangladesh border.

The water of Umngot river is so clear that the boats floating on it, look as if they are on a crystal glass surface. That’s a wonderful sight!
